Ahead of the release of her debut EP, Vicky Pasion graces ‘The Scene’ on BBC Radio, London. She premieres her latest single ‘Been Like’, co-written with Owen Cutts (Stormzy, H.E.R, Greentea Peng) and explores the songwriting process behind her EP, her mental health journey her experience of the music industry so far!
In 2019 Nigerian-British artist exhibited his work “That’s Cool”, a painting that explores societal biases in our thoughts and projections onto young black men, for their cultural expression of themselves, highlighted in their chosen dress code. He discussed the inspiration behind his work on BBC Radio London’s “Jo Good Show”.
Vicky Pasion was featured as part of Apple’s showcase for “Made in LDN” - a series of creative sessions, in partnership with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. The showcase featured work from sessions including Vicky Grout, Mr. Bailey, Wretch 32 and 56 Black Men, and other talented young Londoners.
Vicky Pasion was invited to the first Visionaries Summit held in Washington DC, a partnership with Vital Voices and The Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund. Vicky was invited alongside 20 other visionaries from around the globe, highlighted as the next generation of leaders who are redefining leadership in their everyday lives.
